Local conditions
A little context before outdoor care.
Sacramento-area heat, wildfire smoke and changing conditions can affect outdoor care. This optional check gives general area information, with a clear time and source.
Area weather and air quality
The same approximate public Carmichael location is used for every visitor. Your address and device location are not requested.
Conditions have not been checked.
A forecast or AQI category does not establish that a walk is safe. Lauren considers the individual pet, surface conditions, heat, smoke and actual day-of conditions before deciding how to provide outdoor care.
The care plan still comes first.
Outdoor activities may be shortened, modified, replaced with appropriate safer care, or discontinued when conditions make the planned activity unsafe. A specific outdoor duration is not guaranteed regardless of weather.
