Evergreen preparation guide

Prepare the routine, the home, and a practical backup.

Good preparation helps Lauren follow the confirmed plan without turning private care information into public website data. Use this guide as a prompt, then keep the actual client record in Precise Petcare.

Use your browser’s print command for a clean paper copy. This guide is general preparation. It is not a booking, acceptance decision, or substitute for your signed agreements and confirmed care plan.

Confirm the care before you prepare the handoff

  • Make sure the requested dates and services are confirmed in Precise Petcare. A website estimate, registration, invoice, or payment does not by itself confirm care.
  • Tell Lauren promptly if travel timing, the household, shared-care arrangements, or a pet’s needs change after the request is submitted.
  • You do not need to anticipate every onboarding question. Lauren will help cover the routine, safety, access, emergency information, equipment, and anything unique to your pets before care is confirmed.

Update the secure care record

  • Review every pet’s profile, normal routine, feeding, medication, veterinary, and emergency-contact information in Precise Petcare.
  • Include all pets and clarify whether anyone else will enter the home or share care during the service period.
  • Keep access codes, detailed medical information, and travel details in the secure client workflow, not public planning tools or an initial email.

Set out enough supplies

  • Prepare enough food, medication, treats, litter, habitat supplies, waste bags, and cleaning materials for the confirmed service period.
  • Keep leashes, harnesses, carriers, towels, and other routine equipment in the agreed locations and in usable condition.
  • Label or organize items clearly when similar supplies serve different pets or routines.

Test access and its backup

  • Test the primary access method before care begins and review it during onboarding or the Meet & Greet.
  • Agree on an appropriate backup access plan where applicable. Do not send access details through this public website.
  • Confirm any gate, parking, alarm, or building-entry steps through the approved secure process.

Plan for equipment failure

  • Check routine feeders, fountains, self-cleaning litter boxes, climate equipment, and other care devices before departure.
  • Provide a practical non-connected backup when a device, battery, power supply, or network could fail.
  • Do not rely on a smart device as the only way to provide essential food, water, access, or environmental support.

Use the Meet & Greet to check the real routine

A complimentary initial Meet & Greet is generally expected unless Lauren personally approves a rare exception. Use it to walk through the pets’ routine, equipment, access, safety information, and questions. It does not guarantee acceptance; the service is established only after Lauren’s review and a confirmed Precise Petcare booking.
